Lidia & Joseph Intimate Wedding

Lidia’s letter to Joseph

“..I’m so glad, this day is finally here and I’ll marry the man of my dreams. I love you soooo much with all my heart. So, please get ready and look smart.” – Lidia

an Indian boy, a Polish girl, struck by Cupid in London – a Bollywood love story – different continents, different cultures, but one love – a surreal couple session, an unforgettable intimate destination wedding experience at Kochi, Kerala.

A glimpse into the lives of two souls who bridged the gap of thousands of kilometers between continents with their simple bond of unconditional love, followed by a heart-warming wedding celebration with family & friends.

Lidia & Joseph

“..I’M SO GLAD, THIS DAY IS FINALLY HERE AND I’LL MARRY
THE MAN OF MY DREAMS. I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH WITH
ALL MY HEART. SO, PLEASE GET READY AND LOOK SMART.”

Joseph’s way of exploring simplicity in life with a passion unlike anyone, drew Lidia towards him. As a shy and simple girl with dreams kept close to her heart, Lidia wished for a Bollywood love story for herself.

YES! it came true.

Joseph became her Hero, the very first time he spoke to her. And since then they have been together through thick and thin.

Lidia, emotional and caring by nature, made Joseph reinvent himself. And as time flew by, he could only imagine life with his beloved - a life of togetherness filled with love; a life where he can laugh, cry and be his own self throughout.

These beautiful souls listened to their hearts and spoke the language of love. But they never understood how love could make two different worlds come together until one fine day it just happened.

“jinke sar ho
ishq ki chhaon,
paaon ke neeche
jannat hogi”

THOSE WHO WALK
IN THE SHADE OF LOVE
WILL HAVE PARADISE
UNDER THEIR FEET.

Lidia (Polish by birth) & Joseph (Indian by birth), based out of United Kingdom, approached us to document their wedding at Kochi (India).

We started discussing details and met both of them in Mumbai (India). Their journey with each other, spanning over a period of 7 years, was very engaging. As we took more bites into their relationship, we got inspired by their unconditional love and respect for each other.

Rising temperatures, super-high levels of humidity (Kochi, in the month of April), insufficient sleep and last-minute surprises were no match for our sky-high spirits and the love showered upon us by their family and friends.

Delicious home-cooked idli-sambar kept us going as we ventured into their set of events with a yearning to create memories that can withstand the test of time.

As we travelled in/around Kochi & Munnar and documented the happenings, we felt a flurry of emotions and experienced the power of love unifying different cultures. Their events stood testimony to the fact that a little love is all it takes to change our perspective of things around us and make life lot more beautiful.

Amongst many other things, we also learnt that “kocham cię” (pronounced as kohaaam chye) in Polish, translates to I love You.
