“SHE EXUDES AN OLD WORLD CHARM BUT SHE STEPS AHEAD OF HER TIMES.. LITTLE THAT WE KNOW ABOUT HER, INTRIGUES US TO EXPLORE."
Santanu says, “The Maku woman is someone who is defined by her choices which are carefully designed. She exudes an old world charm but she steps ahead of her times. She identifies with excellence but prefers the subtlety of imperfections. Her aura is mystery and her eyes are deep. Little that we know about her, intrigues us to explore."
His world of natural blues and whites is reminiscent of a classic monochrome photograph that has all the colors one can imagine.
Santanu's label, Maku, speaks the language of an uncanny simplicity that becomes a part of your subconscious without even realising it - just like the sky and the oceans are an integral part of our existence, demanding little or no attention at all.
Thank You Santanu for letting us into your world and for the very special tea. We are grateful to Tania for connecting us to such an amazing human being.
Maku is a Bengali word that translates to a weaving shuttle.
We believe in a minimal social presence away from the frenzy of digital likes, tweets and hashtags. Our motto is to make every client’s experience as personal and immersive as possible. Nothing equals the happiness we see in their eyes.
